
IELTS Writing Marking
Audience:
- This course is designed for educators wishing to understand the IELTS Writing Test criteria and how to mark Task 1 and 2 papers.
Pre-requisites:
- A computer with internet access (for forum posts and marking of assignments)
- A PDF file reader (such as Adobe Acrobat Reader)
- A firm understanding of English (We would recommend a level of at least IELTS 7)
Duration:
- Approx. 10 hours
Learning Outcomes
- Identify/recognize the IELTS Writing Criteria levels
- Identify, Explain and Justify Writing marking methods and use them appropriately
- Extend and improve knowledge, learning, performance and outcomes of students by applying methods and techniques learnt in Writing

IELTS Writing Level 2
Audience:
- This course is designed for students wishing to obtain 5.5 or higher in the IELTS Writing exam.
Pre-requisites:
- Students should have an IELTS Writing level of at least 4.5 before attempting this course. Students that don't have this level, we suggest that you take the IELTS Writing 1 course first.
- A computer with internet access (for forum posts)
- A PDF file reader (such as Adobe Acrobat Reader)
Duration:
- Approx. 20 hours (including forum posts)

IELTS Writing Level 1
Audience:
- This course is designed for students wishing to obtain between 4 and 5.5 or higher score in the IELTS Writing exam.
Pre-requisites:
- Students should have an IELTS Writing level of at least 3.5 before attempting this course.
- A computer with internet access (for forum posts)
- A PDF file reader (such as Adobe Acrobat Reader)
Duration:
- Approx. 20 hours (including forum posts)
